Anonymous asked: where can you buy knitting needles? (preferably in seoul if you know) i found yarn but can't find the needles.. thanks!

I bought my knitting needles in Incheon, actually. Which was nice, because I really wanted to find a place that didn’t involve a weekend trip to pick up supplies. The good news is, I bought them at a common market (시장), which to me means that you should be able to find a place in most (if not any) of the markets in Seoul. Just look for the part of the market that’s dominated by fabrics and sewing supplies and find a shop with lots of scarves hanging out front, and yarn on the walls inside. They should be able to get you sorted out with whatever you need. My local ladies have been very kind and helpful, despite my not knowing the vast majority of the vocabulary involved (in Korean or English, really). I just go in, tell them what I want to make in what color, and they sort me out from beginning to end, including showing me the technique I need to use. Very nice.
