Vaslav Nijinsky. Diaghilev wouldn’t allow the Ballets Russes to be filmed, so there’s no footage of him dancing. Not sure if it’s a shame, or if Diaghilev was right, but I do know that in absolutely every single last still photograph of him, Nijinsky is always doing something weird and fascinating, in an almost uncomfortable way. Reading his diary changed my life. I don’t actually care about ballet.
